Orphans Eyes
Earlier this year, Cassie Relf, founder of Orphans Eyes association came to speak at Interact. She inspired us with her amazing story of how she is helping the orphans in Burundi, Africa. The vision of Orphans Eyes is ‘many people giving a little can change a life’, their mission, ‘to bring hope back to a hopeless place’. The goal over the next three years is to build a trade school in Burundi to give the people there a future. We wanted to help raise money for Orphans Eyes so we ran a bake sale and BBQ fundraiser that has raised money for this worthy cause. To find out more about Orphans Eyes visit http://orphanseyes.com

Shelter Box
In February 2010 Interact raised money though a cupcake stall to buy a shelter box. Each box costs $1200 and they are distributed to be used as emergency shelter in disaster areas.
